Delete your PrepPlug account

From inside the app

This takes about ten seconds and happens immediately.

1. Open the PrepPlug app and sign in.
2. Open the menu and tap Your profile.
3. Scroll to Delete account.
4. Enter your password to confirm, then tap Delete my account.

You will be asked to confirm once more, because this cannot be undone. The moment you confirm, you are signed out everywhere and the account stops working.

By email, if you have uninstalled the app

Email info@prepplug.com from the address on your account, or tell us the phone number you signed up with so we can find it.

We will confirm it is your account before deleting anything, and we aim to complete the request within 30 days. We will email you when it is done.

What gets deleted

Permanently, and immediately when you do it from the app:

• Your name, email address, phone number and password
• Your Google sign-in link, if you used one
• Every question you have answered, and the results of every mock
• Your progress, topic accuracy, revision schedule, streak, XP and badges
• Your referral code, so it can no longer be used

Your account cannot be signed into again, and none of this can be restored — not by you and not by us.

What we keep, and why

Records of money are kept, because Nigerian tax and accounting law requires us to hold them. These are kept without your name, email or phone number attached:

• Subscription payments — what was paid, when, and for which plan
• Data bundle purchases — the amount and the plan, not the number it went to

If someone referred you to PrepPlug, the record that they did stays on their account, because it is part of what they are owed. It does not name you.

One thing to check first

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through Google Play or the App Store. Those are managed by the store, not by us. Cancel it there first, or it will keep renewing after your account is gone.

A subscription bought on our website through Paystack simply stops — there is nothing to cancel separately.
