1. Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account or using PrepPlug — on the web, the mobile app, the desktop app or WhatsApp — you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. We are independent of the exam boards
PrepPlug is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to JAMB, WAEC, NECO or any examination body. We reference those examinations because we prepare students for them. Their names and trademarks belong to them. Past questions are reproduced for study purposes; official syllabuses, registration and results remain entirely a matter for the boards themselves.
3. Who may use PrepPlug
You may use PrepPlug if you can form a binding contract, or if you are under 18 and have permission from a parent, guardian or school. If you are a school or tutor creating accounts for students, you confirm you have the authority to do so and will tell those students and their guardians how their data is used.
4. Your account
Your phone number identifies your account. Keep your password private, and tell us promptly at info@prepplug.com if you believe someone else has access to your account. You are responsible for activity on your account.
One account is for one person. Sharing an account, or reselling access to it, is grounds for suspension without refund.
5. Subscriptions and payment
Some of PrepPlug is free. Paid plans are priced in naira and shown to you before you pay. Payments are handled by Paystack; we do not receive or store your card details.
A paid plan gives you access for the period you paid for. When that period ends, access to paid features stops unless you renew. Prices may change, but a change never affects a period you have already paid for.
Refunds. If a payment is taken in error, or a technical fault on our side prevents you from using what you paid for, contact us within 14 days and we will refund it. We do not otherwise refund a subscription part-way through its period.
6. Airtime and data purchases
Airtime and data bundles bought through PrepPlug are delivered by a third-party provider onto your mobile network. Check the phone number and network before you confirm — we cannot recover a bundle delivered to a number you entered incorrectly. If a purchase is charged but not delivered, contact us and we will either deliver it or refund it.
7. The affiliate programme
Affiliates earn commission on subscriptions bought by users who joined through their referral code. Commission is payable once the referred payment has cleared and the applicable hold period has passed.
You must give accurate bank details; we verify the account name against the account number before paying. We may withhold or reverse commission, and close an affiliate account, where we find referral fraud — including self-referral, fake accounts, or paid traffic that misrepresents PrepPlug.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, scrape, bulk-download or redistribute our question bank, solutions or explanations;
- share, resell or publish your account access;
- attempt to break, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to the service;
- upload unlawful, abusive or infringing material through any part of the platform;
- use PrepPlug to cheat in a live examination, or to help anyone else do so.
9. Content and ownership
Past examination questions originate with the examination boards. Our compilation of them, together with our worked solutions, explanations, topic classifications, software and design, belongs to PrepPlug and is protected by copyright. Your paid plan is a licence to use it for your own study — it does not transfer ownership.
If you are a school and you upload your own questions, they remain yours. You give us permission to store and display them so we can run your mocks for you.
If you believe something on PrepPlug infringes your copyright, write to info@prepplug.com and we will investigate.
10. What we do not promise
We cannot guarantee any examination result. PrepPlug is a practice tool. How you perform in JAMB, WAEC or NECO depends on your own preparation and on the examination itself. Nothing on this site is a prediction of what will appear in an exam, and no plan, score or streak on PrepPlug entitles you to any particular outcome.
We work hard to keep our content accurate, but past question sets can contain errors and we do not warrant that every answer or explanation is correct. Tell us if you spot a mistake and we will fix it.
We aim to keep the service available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, network faults and events outside our control can interrupt it.
11. Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, PrepPlug is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost opportunities, or for examination outcomes. Where we are found liable, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Suspension and closing your account
You may stop using PrepPlug and ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that is used fraudulently, or where we are required to by law. If we close your account without cause, we will refund the unused part of your current paid period.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. If a change materially affects your rights, we will give notice in the app or by message before it takes effect. Continuing to use PrepPlug after that means you accept the updated terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the Nigerian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
