Know the paper before you sit it.
JAMB and WAEC each time, structure and mark their papers differently. PrepPlug mirrors each one — the interface, the clock, the scoring — so nothing on exam day is new.
Four subjects. Two hours. Scored out of 400.
UTME is computer-based, and every candidate sits Use of English plus three subjects that match their course. We set English automatically and let you pick the rest.
- Use of English plus your three subjects, each served from its paper for the year you pick
- One 120-minute clock across all four subjects, with auto-submit when it hits zero
- The navigator, flags for review and one-question-at-a-time flow — just like the hall
- A scaled score out of 400 the moment you submit, with a per-subject breakdown
- Past papers going back 20 years
Every objective paper — with the working shown.
WASSCE is written on paper over several weeks, with an objective paper, a theory paper and, for sciences, practicals. PrepPlug covers the objective paper — every question with a worked solution. Theory answers are not marked.
- Objective questions with instant marking and a worked explanation for each
- Up to nine subjects tracked separately, each with its own accuracy
- Past questions organised by year
Past questions, inside WhatsApp.
Message the PrepPlug bot with a subject and year and it sends you questions one at a time — options, marking and the worked solution — on any phone, on any network.
- Works on the phone you already have; nothing to install
- Light enough for 2G — text only, no images unless the question needs one
- Your streak and score carry over to the app when you sign in

Exam questions, answered.
How many questions are in JAMB UTME?
180 in total: 60 in Use of English and 40 in each of your three other subjects, answered in 2 hours on a computer. PrepPlug’s simulator uses the same 2-hour clock and serves every question from each subject’s paper for the year you pick.
Are these the real past questions?
Yes. Questions are drawn from actual JAMB and WAEC papers across the last 20 years, and a worked solution is written for each one — not just the answer letter.
Does the practice apply to WAEC GCE?
The syllabus is the same as the school sittings, so the same practice applies. Past questions are tagged by year.
Can my school add its own questions?
Yes. Schools upload questions from an Excel sheet, set the timer and assign the mock to a class. Every row is validated before anything goes live.
